I never said bust but he is no Barkov, Eichel, or Laine. I think we can agree on that. Pominville has also produced on that top line and I think reinhart is the better player of the two and could bring more to the second line so that was my reasoning for that.

the problem is, you get far enough away, people except expats dont know buffalo food is good or why. There's a place in LA called "top round" its the closest thing you can get to beef on weck in California. People sh!t all over it on yelp for having "no flavor" that done even realize its a regional dish. They also dont understand the horseradish. People literally say you're better off going to Arby's.

Wasn't directed at you, these were amassed over time.

And you are completely right. Samson is not the best #2 overall, far from it. I just don't see him as the dumpster fire and bust of a pick that others do. I also think he's gaining on a lot of guys from his draft class that were deemed miles ahead.

Probably right. It's a messy business

My guess is that this turns out in a similar way that the Mike Richards situation did. Both sides end up coming to some sort of agreement in which we'll end up paying him some sort of money but he's no longer under contract.

You have to keep in mind that overall, the owners are going to want the Pegulas to fight this in some way as well, because if they don't, it sets a precedent for other players to randomly do things like this with no consequences.

It also depends on the status of the player, Evander Kane and Sam Reinhart can skip practice and are just suspended for a game because they're important players, but a scrub like Berglund can't get away with that because the team will be fine, better even, when he's not.
