Agreed. My one quick take on this: pretty sure jack will put up more than 2 points in a 7 game playoff series. Pretty sure.

To what end are fielding calls on Jack Eichel? What are you hoping to gain? An elite 1C is the pinnacle franchise cornerstone. Everything revolves around that

You’re simply missing the point. It’s ok. I’m not arguing against not trading him.
I never said field, I said listen. Very different animals.

jack is a morph of matthews and mcdavid IMO


mattews is by far the best goal scorer
mcdavid has the best vision and speed


eichel is probably the second best skater, shooter and has the second best ice vision of the 3


I think jack has grown more this season, the others may have peaked already in their game



it's splitting hairs when ranking the 3 and today I know how I would rank them

of course that could change and the jack I see this year, has shrunk the gap quite a bit



if the sabres make the playoffs and advance, I would probably change the ranking in my head next season, as I am an open minded person

This post is spot on, its why you can't really compare the three players. they all bring something a little bit different, they are all three great players. Exciting because we have one on our team!

I think I get what Hank is saying. Eichel is close to an auto hang up as you get. Still, I field all calls even simply to know what other GMs are thinking. I mean if Colorado was offering Rantanen, MacKinnon and a 1st for Eichel, you take it...

They won't, just saying, it's best to listen, then hang up. I think both of you agree, the call ends quickly lol.

I get where you are coming from that critique isn't hate. To be honest, I don't think your thoughts on Reinhart are that far off. He's inconsistent and everyone wishes we had a bit more speed from our 1RW. I don't think that's hate, same way as I don't think homie calling AM better is hate.

The things above are what I call hate. I think they come up a lot more than the MLEWs of the world that blindly hate on Eichel. Reinhart is the new RoR whipping boy to me.

I never said bust but he is no Barkov, Eichel, or Laine. I think we can agree on that. Pominville has also produced on that top line and I think reinhart is the better player of the two and could bring more to the second line so that was my reasoning for that.
