Was that Kampf’s third shot from the slot into Rinne’s breadbasket tonight? |

Rinne pulled for extra attacker. |

Ah no. I know nuance is probably complicated for someone like you, but ya know Piggly Wiggly is a grocery store, I could have said Food Lion, Giant Eagle, anything. The meaning is I would never stumble into someone like you unless it was AT A grocery store. I chose Piggly Wiggly, because I think that's a funny name and OH YEA my grandparents (who I worshiped) shopped at a Piggly Wiggly.
Nice try anyway. - kwolf68
What, we couldn't bump into each other at an IHOP or Waffle House or Red Lobster?
You made a very degrading comment and then tried to cover your tracks.
Nice try anyway |

Ward is my number 1 star!!!!
Thought it was Strome's goal, it was Gus. My bad. Still like Strome though. |

He would be my numbers 1, 2 and 3.
Didn’t see this victory coming tonight, but am very happy for it. Granted Preds were on the back of a B2B, hawks were very engaged tonight. Game was exciting for a change. |

High flying hawk poll after the game ....... why was Forsberg part of it? Haha. Maybe I was the only one to notice. |

Also Missing their #1 D in Subban and Top 2 wingers in Forsberg and Arvidsen. Tough luck! Lol

Yes, scattered wins here and there changes nothing. I know. It feels good beating Nash though. |

Is it just me or does the Hawks’ female interviewer sound like she’s been drinking with Foley all night??? |

Good game by the Hawks after Tuesday's debacle against the Sharks. They are so inconsistent. Ward looked good. Hopefully he won't get burnt out due to the upcoming workload. |

Solid effort tonight. The Hawks battled and actually won their fair share of those battles. The d-zone Chinese fire drills we're used to seeing were almost non-existent tonight. The d-corps played well as a group and the forwards did their job.
The TV caught the Hawks getting ready to line up for a faceoff when Nashville had the goalie pulled and the d-men were Murphy and Dahlstrom and my thought was it's nice to have 2 big d-men to throw out there for a crunch time d-zone face off.
I liked the TOI distribution for the d-men:
Dahlstrom: 22:01
Murphy: 21:52
Keith: 21:34
Gustafsson: 20:13
Forsling: 16:58
Seabrook:14:58 |

No one ever has a full complement of their best players on the roster all the time. Sometimes you need timing and/or luck. Our men on the ice outplayed their men on the ice and out-scored them. That’s the only advanced stat that matters to me! |

Don’t think she could hang drinking with him all night! Betting what he puts away between pre-game and the final buzzer would be more than enough to do her in |

It does for sure. That sweep a few years ago at their hands stung.
Like the intensity the lads played with tonight and the defensive tenacity.
Bodes well, but this season seems a write off. |

Think the D is much better since Murphy came back and they called up Dahlstrom. Neither are the hot prospects of the month and neither are fancy, but they are pretty effective.
