I'm sure you can do that research on your own, the Canucks built a great prospect pool from finishing 6th, 23rd, 3rd, 2nd & 6th last in the past five drafts, the Flyers did it while being more competitive but making some nice trades and acquiring picks.

Idc if we take a run at Panarin Stone Skinner or even Tarasenko. Proven snipers only cost money. If we did that then draft BPA i go along with.

Also what’s with the Canucks breakout plays of their own zone, absolutely pathetic. Why do some many players think they can stick handle the puck out, but continually turn it over. I really have to question their coaching plays, as well as their power play, they seem to stick with the same designated plays and it fails over and over.

I don't really follow the flyers much. Also don't have much of the nhl news the last few weeks since I'm in the middle of crunch time facing deadlines etc. Obviously I didn't know Fletcher was hired or I wouldn't have asked the question...

D is what ails the canucks, it's poor plans like the one you mentioned that is in the way of us being a much much better team.
