Kane sucks and eichel is awesome.

You and Jacksonville couldn't get enough:

"Kane's the best guy on the sabres"

He was clowning around though......

What the hell are you talking about, Jacksonville? do you actually read the crap you post.

I really think reinhart could do some damage at center with good wingers.

The experiment last year with nobodies was not what we wanted.

We could do:
Skinner - Eichel - mitts
Sheary - reinhart - okposo/Thompson

I hope so, but it’s going to be hard for him playing with Sobotka and pommer

We are 13-4-3 in our last 20 games which included a 5 game losing streak

Rochester and Cincinnati are 1st overall in the AHL and ECHL respectively.

UPL is tearing up the OHL. Mitts hasn't even begun to grow into the player he can be in this league. Dahlin is only 18.

We have 4 first round picks in the next 2 drafts. We pick 8 times in the first two rounds in the next 3 drafts respectively.

Enjoy the ride

Especially lately?

Bogo & Dahlin have paired nicely

If this keeps up all year,
do we consider extending him this offseason?
Or do we consider moving him?
Or just play it out next year & see?

I'd wait.
Sadly, his past injury history screams to wait.
He is playing decent and is about the only threat when things start getting a little testy.
He has value, but I dont think $5m+ worth though.

No

Dahlin is gonna make guys look good. If Bogo stays healthy this year and next, then you talk extension

I can stomach Bogo at $4M but not at $5.4M. 3 years 12M tops take it or leave it.

No way. I wouldn't even extend an offer til midway through next year if things go well, and that would be a 1 year deal.

Yeah extending Bogo into his 30’s might be a mistake. Maybe

As much as I want reinhart to run a productive second line, I will be very happy if he is Eichels Kunitz

I definitely wouldn’t be quick to extend him. Long time between now and when he’s due for a new contract. So much can happen in that period of time.

It does seem interesting to me that he seemed to begrudgingly have that hip surgery last year and so far, so good. Just kind of makes me wonder if he’d been hoping to avoid it but shouldn’t have. Clearly rehabbing it wasn’t working. I know he had other injuries in there, but the majority of his injuries always seemed to be hip/groin issues (and I can see how a not so great hip could cause the groin problems as well due to overcompensating and all that)

Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

But JB should be dangling one of our D men to get a forward

I’m done with Sobatka at 3C
Option 1- give E Rod a shot
Option 2- move Sam to center

Barring a trade,
idk what else we can really do?

Probably need to wait til more of them are due back. Just as we got Scandella back we lost Pilut and Beaulieu.

*When healthy* he’s one of those players who’s been over rated so long that he becomes under rated. He’s a fine 4/5 when healthy, but I can’t imagine any scenario he’s worth a 3-4 year deal into his 30’s

I'm happy that he's finally what we all hoped he could be - physical and occasionally offensively minded. But I don't need him around forever. And that's not to disparage him at all, because I think he's been a bit piece of their success this year.

Makes sense
But if we aren’t gonna extend him,
we should at least listen to offers to see if we could get anything worthwhile

How many goals did Eichel have when the Loving Legend was on the top line, and how many assists did Boss’ pet have?

By contrast, how many assists has soft bum roadcone picked up with his roomie, and look how Jack took things to the next level.

But maybe it’s a new stick flex.

He’s eliminated the boneheaded mistakes for the most part, but so has Risto, so I’m going to think coaching has been a big part

I don’t either. But at like 3-4mil per year for like 2 years I’d do it if things are going well.
