You mean you’ll let this go because you were dead wrong and Rosen has been awful?

Got it

- sbroads24

You have not watched 1 Cards game this year...
true or false

I was right about Allen not being ready

And u clearly have issues with ROR still since u can’t admit how wrong u are about Berglund
But go ahead,
keep trying to change the discussion to avoid admitting it

Clayton Keller. 63 point NHL 20 years old
- gordong

Again your just naming a player.

For every player you name I could name 5 the other way. You don't know how to analyze a player talent wise you just look at stats and think hmmm...thats not right.

He's one of my favorite Sabres ever, but the fact is it took him more time than "normal" to become a good NHLer.

Why does Keller's performance mean Nylander is a bum?

Evgeni Malkin, 85 points NHL 20 years old. Reinhart must suck @your logic.

Not everyone matures at the same rate. How many people wanted Shaq Lawson gone?(I was among them) He's finally playing well now that he's taking it more seriously. If you get to 4 or 5 years post draft and the guy still hasn't panned out, ok, he's very likely not going to, but people have no patience today whatsoever. Detroit used to make all their players play for at least 3 years in the AHL or Europe before they even got a sniff of the NHL.
- Wetbandit1

Sure.
But his assine point was stop evaluating everything based on draft rating (selection), and it is rediculouse to think 18 year olds can dominate the AHL.
I'll give him the 18 dominating issue...most don't....but in Nylanders draft year 10 of the top 16 are already impacting the NHL...I guess he is right though, becausec11 aren't playing in the AHL anymore (snicker).
And voila, when you look at the top 16 draft picks, generally speaking the top is where the best are found...generally.
If he wasn't so aggressive in posting that we are idiots and he is all-knowing...I would have taken my foot off the gas.
But, he asked for it, blantantly asked for it.

Now, about maturing at different rates...sure, I agree whole heartly...
But his game isnt what the Sabres need, nor what generally translates to a successful NHL career.

Regarding Patrik Berglund: He was partying with his Swedish friends for the last couple days while telling the #Sabres that he was sick with the flu. Finally the team had enough info and pulled the trigger to suspend him.

But he’s got good Corsi #s since beingbdemoted to one of the highest paid 4th liners in the league

you just listed three things ive never said. I dont even know what point you are making anymore and it's apparent that neither do you.

No, the significantly older CJ Smith does not a better comparison make. How about comparing him to people in his own age group...like I did when i said he was 3rd in primary points amongst all u-21 skaters in the AHL.

- Sabresfan-365

In time, he could be an All-star AHLer.
Meanwhile, his 1st round draft buddies are tearing ig up i the NHL.
Excuses!

2 years from now it will be he's only 22-3/4 .. his gamd is transitioning.
In the meantime Sergachev will be a Norris candidate.

The team is a mess
He obviously hasn’t had a great year
But you’ve also had guys like Peyton Manning breaking down his play & saying that he’s got what it takes

No offense, but when it comes to opinions on QB play...

Yeah, I'm just saying that calling a 20 year old a bust is a tad premature just because others drafted at the same time are already in the NHL and really good.

And in comparing Lawson and Nylander specifically is that Lawson was known as a lazy player(as is Nylander) until this year where he's taken off and worked his ass off, that play where he knocked down the pass was all work.

A bad team got spanked by a good team?!
Wow
What an unbelievable event

O’Reilly is doing EVERYTHING offensively for StL that YOU claimed he couldn’t do here

I said his numbers would go up in StL,
and they have

Why?
Not bc he’s a better player now
It’s bc of how he’s used
And that he’s playing with legit talent on his wings
And his defense can actually move the puck up the ice

Idk why it’s so hard for u to just admit the OBVIOUS ?
