Technically the team hasn't reported anything though so it's really the media who covers the team doing a terrible job here. If they wanted to appear credible they could've just waited until the Flyers announced something themselves. I guess that's the price you pay when you want to be the first to break a story.

I think Mac could probably be traded retaining 50% salary for the last year of his deal. Rather only have that cap implication for 1 year.

Also, I think Raffl would have some value staying as a utility player. Doubt he would need a raise for a 2 year deal or something.

I’m not making a case for any of these players. He hasn’t scored this season yet and he’s already sat again due to injury. In my mind, any UFA should go. I think there is only a case for Simmonds at a fair price for both sides.
