Hakstol has been rumored to be getting fired the last couple days. The buzz about Quenneville replacing him started yesterday. It looked concrete when Dave Issac reported it was happening but Dreger and Strickland have reported that nothing is done or happening.

Plane is circling waiting to land, pilot just made announcement Hakstol was fired...

Just rumors. Flyers and Quenneville have issued denials. Dreger has said nothing has happened yet.

I think they should consider the following options with AMac in addition to taking the partial A away from him. That should fully belong to Couturier.

-Trade him with 50% retained.

-Waive him to LV and let him play out his final year down there.

- If they do buy him out which I think is most likely its 1.2 next season and 1.9 the season after that. It does save the Flyers approx 2.5 million which I'm sure they're most interested in.

Doesn't make any sense. You can gain about the same amount of cap space for next season by waiving and demoting.
