I wouldn't think that Quenneville would admit to it before he was actually hired or its possible that Hakstol has't been officially fired yet. It's all over the place. It may be a case of an interim taking over until after the holidays.

Like vandevelde is an ineffective nhl player, it’s a good idea to pull your goalie when your top line has offensive zone possession with 2 minutes left, or to actually have a goalie rotation even when one gets hot.

Currently Hak is kind of fired, Q is kind of hired and MJL is still making excuses for Hak's performance like Stevens and Berube before him.
