For your information Mr. Know It All, I graduated from one of the top high schools in the state of Illinois and then graduated from a prestigious Liberal Arts College in Michigan where I also played on a National Champion Division 3 Hockey club while earning a double major in journalism and history.

Now have a warm glass of milk and go to bed.

Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but I don't see any DIII champions from Michigan:

I am willing to bet that none of you "Leaf Fans" will be laughing when the same mistakes are made by Babcock and company as they were last year and lead to another pathetic first round exit. I don't want that to happen again.
- royalgardens

Wait, why did you put Leafs fans in quotes?

Are you saying they aren't real Leaf fans?

Wouldn't that mean that they would be laughing if the Leafs got eliminated?

I don't really know many of them, but admittedly, I just don't know a lot about American universities outside of Harvard, Wharton, the other Ivy Leagues, and some of the top hockey, basketball, football schools.

Actually I think my friend's dad went to RIT, but I could be wrong about that. It was definitely a tech school Actually, my friend's dad DID win some sort of NCAA championship, but like 50 years ago, and I have no idea what division or anything. They do reunions from time to time. But they're like 75 year old and stuff.

I decided to do some googling. And apparently it was Division 1 that my friend's day won. But I don't think it was as big a deal in 1962.

Yea i am a troll. Ive written over 50 blogs on the Maple Leafs and Kings on this website, got some positive feedback from Mr. Eklund since I joined in 2012, and have also written for other sites. My everyday job is teaching special needs students at the middle school level for the past 14 years, as well as coaching the basketball and soccer teams at my school. Sorry somehow you made me out to be such a bad guy...

Not to sound like a big deal, I am not. Never asked to be. I just enjoy writing about the clubs I have always liked. But you don't seem to be very friendly or respectful, of just thought enough to finish this childish spat.

You keep saying this like it means something.

Methinks you need to grow some thicker skin, sir. Not everyone is going to agree with your opinion on this site and some are going to think some of your ideas are absurd. Some people have jumped on me for what they feel are some outlandish (right or wrong) opinions I've espoused but I'm not losing any sleep over it.

You seem genuinely offended and, if this wasn't a hockey forum where constant bickering over minutiae is common-place, I'd be defending your position. But dude, it's HockeyBuzz -- if you're looking for serious, pragmatic debates I think you're overrating the experience.
