Why are our best players playing 8 minutes less?

And Babcock will still do that in the playoffs. So what are we resting them for? Summer vacation?

So we sign John Tavares and have Matthews/JT and Kadri as 1, 2 and 3.
Our 4th line C got 10:44 TOI last night and over 11 minutes against Tampa.

Does anyone else find that crazy? The 4th line C should be getting 5-6 minutes.

...and having the 4th line play ~10 mins sounds pretty average (haven't checked though)

The same as every other team. Every nhl teams 4th line players play 7-9 mins a game even strength.

There is nothing wrong or out of the ordinary with how much the 4th line is playing.
