I don't cheer for the Flames Oilers either but gotta acknowledge where they are heading. Flames would probably be 1st overall in the league if they had decent goaltending consistently. Rittich looked good yesterday so see where it goes. I still think the Flames are a few players short of going deep in the PO's but we'll see. I have the Jets in the final in my pool.

Oilers will shock a team or two if they make the PO's which I think they will. Hitch has them buying into a structured defensive game. Boring I know but effective. They could steal a round depending who they play.

Was just watching the Junior A game between Cdn west and USA

Austin Wong for being 5'11" 190 lbs hits everyone as hard as he can. Hits hard too. Can see why he is up over 200 PIM in an Alberta junior league.

Misconduct during the game from hitting a guy from behind in the numbers about 3 feet from the boards.

as someone who dislikes both of those signings, and don't really care for either of those players, they have been pretty good the during the last 4 or 5 games. Will they ever live up to their contracts? probably not, but its hard to critisize them right now when they are playing some pretty good hockey for us.
