Since Beagle has been back Canucks are 4-1-1 With 24 goals for and 13 against

7-3-1 with Beagle in the line up. Great signing by JB.

I liked Gaudette's game last night.

#Canucks Gaudette playing tonight like a guy who doesn't want to come out of the line-up again. Should have a couple of goals. Has looked quick. Crushing the possession numbers (12-2)

Um, why?

Hutton is lost without him. Biega sucks. Stecher makes DP less horrible.

Sounds like the Comets will be without Zack MacEwen today. His hit on Tariq Hammond last game has resulted in a suspension. Looks like Dahlen could be out with a concussion after the hit from Tangradi as well. So Tangradi took out Sautner and Dahlen last week for extended periods

Gaudette was sick he had the flu and lost 10 lbs. I was surprised last night when the HNIC crew said he was a healthy scratch . He wasn't

Just want to see the Flames/Oliers PO matchup so they can beat the crap out of each other. Oil are in.

Beagle and Rousell have been solid. Schaller just maybe needs to get back with Sutter where he looked decent?

Gaudette looked like he had jump tonight. Would have been nice if that great shot of his on that 2-1 would have went in.

And I know I harp on MArky a lot but he did play super solid last night. Credit where it's due.

Obviously I haven't watched them since Hitchcock took over but I'm reading they're playing a much more structured/boring game, and subsequently winning....a lot!
- LeftCoaster

Hitch has sold a defensive system to the players and you can see they have bought in. Even McDavid looks way more defensively solid in his own zone.

5-4 Oil tonight OT.

Yeah according to Batchelor he was listed as playing center so I don't know where HNIC got that from.

Sick or not, he did go 9 days in-between games. Being sick takes a toll on the body but not the same as pushing muscles every 2nd night.

Marky and Nilsson have been solid. Marky is his own worst enemy when he lets in the early muffin. Both goalies are better when the team scores early though.

No more high picks is the reason I want the coilers in, otherwise I don't give a rats behind about both those alberia teams.

True. They even touched on it on HNIC last night how both our goalies will never be true starters. it is what it is. They have been solid enough to keep us in games and that's all we can ask.

3 million, on pace for 3 goals, him and Eriksson are foundational.

I don't cheer for the Flames Oilers either but gotta acknowledge where they are heading. Flames would probably be 1st overall in the league if they had decent goaltending consistently. Rittich looked good yesterday so see where it goes. I still think the Flames are a few players short of going deep in the PO's but we'll see. I have the Jets in the final in my pool.

Oilers will shock a team or two if they make the PO's which I think they will. Hitch has them buying into a structured defensive game. Boring I know but effective. They could steal a round depending who they play.

Yes his warm up / game prep obviously needs to change. You'd think it'd have been addressed by now

as someone who dislikes both of those signings, and don't really care for either of those players, they have been pretty good the during the last 4 or 5 games. Will they ever live up to their contracts? probably not, but its hard to critisize them right now when they are playing some pretty good hockey for us.
