Not sure what 3 defensemen you are refering to, as the post only had Hutton and Gudbranson on it.
A subjective stat that suggests the 2 are not a good match together, yet the player that the author and yourself, have gone on record stating that you dislike the said player, is the problem, doesn't hold much water too me.
In no way am I trying to suggest that these 2 are great defensemen, although I think, at this time both are adequate.
I also think that, as people keep saying the game is changing and small fast players are the way too go, yet, Gm's are talking about trying too get players of Tom Wilson's ilk, we will see the value of a defenseman like Gudbranson, rise above what any stat can provide.
Just my opinion.

Shots are 3-3 . Not like they are being outplayed. It is a depleted lineup playing the best team in the league

Any stat can be made to be spun anyway you want, and many are developed by people who don't like a certain style of play or players, so they exclude information that that style of player brings.

lol i never posted any stats about hutton or gudbranson. go back. I am one of Guddys biggest critics, but i have pumped his tires like crazy this year. He has been a really good hockey player for the team. Does that mean I still think the team is better without him on the long run? Sure, but I can't criticize him when hes proving me, and half our fan base wrong.

Donny and I disagree on both gudbranson and goldobin, but neither of us care to keep going on and on about them reuby.

I brought up Gudbranson once maybe twice today and will respond at times, when others like to criticize him, usually the ones that criticize Gudbranson are the same ones who like Goldobin and vice-versa, I wouldn't say I go on and on like you claim as I make usually 2 posts in my discussions about a player, sometimes 3, then move on.
I would say that is pretty much the same as what you do as well, yet I don't say you go on and on, as it is expected to have a bit of debate when differing opinions occur...no?

No no. Not saying you do, im just saying in general. Like makita said, opinions against the grain generally get polarized compared to going with the flow. My opinions are of my own, and seem to never be with the majority. I dont care for guddy, but appreciate his improvements and what hes done. I think goldobin is the 2nd best playmaker on the team, again, i know im the minority. I didnt mean you specifically reuby, just in general.
