Oh, no no. I wouldn’t add to get Keith. JJ straight up. It’s not a good enough trade for CHI, but I’m not selling futures for that contract. - Rinosaur
WELL... they did do Skuds for Daley... but lets just say a pick or something because they'd have to retain salary to make it even up.
edit for your edit...
I wouldn't sell off futures to get Keith, but I would to get rid of Jack Johnson.
Awesome. The we don't need Letang people are back... - Victoro311
It's not like he's one of the best Dman in the league or anything. Ron Hainsey is clearly good enough. We should also trade Malkin. All we need is Sid. Malkin can be the "man" in Chicago.

You honestly believe that they could win the cup without Letang again?... I mean, sure it's possible, but what would be the chances of it twice?...I dont know man. Pretty tall order, he's so fn important. I said it when he went down that year and I'll say it again: he might be just as, or more, important than Sid or Geno... Might be.

So ahhhh... Any word On Tanger at all?
The only miniscule sliver of postive I can see is that a pairing that I really liked and thought should stick might be reunited.... Maatta-Rikki
An extremely small sample size to be sure but they were one of the best looking pairs to my eyes for the Pens out side of DumoTang and Schultz-Cole I've seen in a while. Very cohesive and supported each other well. I really think it was unfair that Rikki started looking good then got benched for Pettersson.

Awesome comment.
The we dont need Letang people = the people who dont want to write off the season because he went down. The same people who didnt want to do it in 2017 and were right.
No wonder Pens fans have such a bad name around the league, we're so spoiled, multiple generational talents, multiple cups, still whine constantly.
Most teams around the league play under the lets get to the playoffs because you never know attitude, not us though, its the waaaaa no way we can win the cup without Letang!

I was totally in the postive camp when he went down in 2017. This time I'm luke warm and that's mainly becuae they already did it haha... I think the chances of it twice are less...

Who cares what the chances are, Pens still have one of the most potent offences in the league, having to tighten up and be more responsible in their own end would probably be a good thing for this squad.
You think any team if the playoffs start tomorrow would choose to play the Pens?

I’d say they are closer to average offense in the league this season with Letang on the roster. Without him I’d say there below average offense given the only pairing that pushes the needle is the Letang pairing. So there’s that.
I think if they commit top to bottom to good accountability they can limit the Kings. I do worry about their own ability to generate sans letang though
