When a player used to "drop" to Gillis, I was always scared about how bad the kid was that no other GM wanted him but MG was super happy to get them.

Now, i'm overly excited when a player "drops" to JB and when JB gets that stupid excited look on his face.

Gillis picked 22-29 except in 2008, he was just hired. But yeah, I agree, I almost threw the remote threw the tv when he picked Shinkaruk, same with Schroeder, hated both those picks.

No ones fallen to Benning, he’s picked every kid where they were projected to go.

I don't understand this article, Johnston states "Flyers' dismissal of Ron Hextall comes with a lesson for the Canucks", but never says what he believes that lesson is?

Personally I don't see any lesson to be learned, for the Canucks, from the Hextall dismissal. The two situations are nothing alike.
