Definitely. Cory needs something to go right for him and getting a lot of work consistently in the AHL might turn it around. Right now getting sporadic starts isn't working so they need to do something new.

The concern there is if Cory turns it around down there I think he has to go through te-entry waivers to come back up. We’d risk losing him unless we left him down for the season, unless there’s some CBA update I’m unaware of.

If we send him down any team can claim him but have to do it when he goes down. When we recall him he wouldn't need to go on waivers again.

Seriously?!?!?! What more can Yak do to prove he belongs in the lineup. He has been better than LJ and Greene. He is 27 so no point conditioning him, throw him in the fire and see what happens. However, not rewarding Seney/Coleman/Yak with their deserved TOI is only gonna boost the lottery odds for us.
