The Flyers MUST solve their goaltending problem. Quick's term would end up being less than say bringing back Bob (assuming he wants back in Philly). He's big money but the Flyers have it to spend.

For the life of me, I can't see why the Kings would trade Quick. If so - then they might as well trade everybody else off and get really young.

The thing with goaltenders is their past means nothing, it's how they are currently playing in the situation they are in. If they struggle with a bad team that won't magically change. The good news is their value is not high. Only way a goaltender is worth a 1st, decent prospect or anything of value is if that goaltender is currently playing at all-star level or a young goaltender who hasn't reached their prime yet. Reclamation projects are worth a 3rd round pick at most due to the risk.
