What the hell was Martinsen thinking about? Could be 4-3. - kwolf68
He’s not an NHL player despite the live some posters give him. |

While I really hated JJ's take on DinkyCat and his ever pumping of Fortin, I do like JJ's reasoned perspective in how to project "prospects". Sometimes us fans pencil in various players currently in Juniors as "the future, we're saved", when we have no idea if these guys will be capable NHL players. For every Duncan Keith there are 100 Dylan Olsons. |

Horrific shift by Seabrook. Simply can't keep up with anyone, easily disposed of by quick skating "fourth liners", lots of space, shot ends up on net. I love #7, but it's painful to watch him play. |

Yea maybe so, but we squeaked out wins at Detroit and at Arizona. So it evens out, but yea we had a very hobbled Mack against New Eng and Miami. The Packers game we had won, but we played it safe and god Roger-ed. The Giants game was just one of those games where I think it was a young team probably not taking a bad team seriously, a bad team with a couple of BRILLIANT (see, Barkley, S) players who changed that game. Teams on the way up tend to let a couple of crappy games get away. They'll learn - kwolf68
Yeah, good point. Forgot about the squeakers on our end. |

Geezus Kruger.
LOL Hawks dodged a huge bullet - kwolf68
And then he's on the PK for extended time running around out of control never doing anything of value. He had his one good game last week and now back to meaninglessness hockey. How long before he touches the puck tonight ??

Yo Breadman... Life is good back on this side of the fence. I hope you and your family are doing well. That hit on Crow didn't look good, could be it for him professionally considering his history of late. |

No compliance buyouts left. Seabrook was on the guy along the boards, the guy did two quick hockey stops and seabrook was history, and had to fade back toward the middle. So he did the smart thing by getting to the house, but did absolutely nothing to defend the puck along the board because he can't skate with these guys anymore. |

Agreed Wolf. JJ and JL both have their strengths when it comes to writing. |

Yeah, that was bad. Hoping everything is fine for him. Thank God the posts come off, but still..... |

He couldn’t even play the body. Just couldn’t do anything. Then turns around and sits in front of the net screening Ward and allowing the SJ player to have inside position. |

ANYONE complaining about the Bears needs to give up watching sports. They have FOUR losses, all insanely close losses. They didn't lay down one time all year and won huge game after huge game. It was a hell of a lot of fun. And guess what? They will(should be) better next year as Mitch and the young guys continue to progress (Ro Smith is gonna be a beast)
Lets enjoy the NFL NORRIS DIVISION TITLE and we did it with the Packers watching from the other side. Can you say, "Changing of the Guard?" ---BIG SMILES - kwolf68

Agree. Not saying JL pumps prospects, because he doesn't. I honestly like them both. JJ was a bit more forceful and drew more strong opinions while JL seems to explore different angles a bit more, but both are tremendous and we were lucky to have JJ and think we're lucky to have Justin.
Both did and do great work. |

You saw what I saw wolf. 7 cannot stay with his man so the entire team defense gets broken down and it’s in the back of the net. He’s (frank)ing done! |

Good to be partying on your side HawknD.
Football has been trash for a long while now, we got a team that plays bad ass defense and is pretty damn innovative on offense. Oh yea, and today they are champions. Not complaining about that. |

in 34 games this team has allowed:
4 or more goals in regulation: 21 games
3 or more goals in regulation: 27 games
they blow a 2-0 lead
their special teams continue to be a complete farce: 3-40 on the pp over the last 14 games...thats beyond bad and when you watch it; ya wonder how they got those 3 goals....
and may i add the 9th time they have allowed 5 or more in regulation...
score first 2 goals and then get out scored 5-1 in the next 35 minutes...another low light accomplishment for this team
about to lose 13 of 14 games... |

No, they likely won't get a bye with Rams and Saints rolling toward 14 wins. |
