Nagy gets bitten after that tricky play call. - I Am The Breadman
Two terrible play calls. Complete joke and then we play prevent D |

Question for you all: are any of you interested or captivated by these out door games?
The hawks/bruins on New Years day. Just another game to me. The outdoor game pumping by NBC/NHL has worn old and stale. I have not watched any that don't involve the hawks. And they are 1-4 in those games. and soon to be 1-5.
The ice is usually bad, the weather sucks, and camera angles really sucks. Who needs it. - bogiedoc
I'm not, they lose all of the time. They won the Stadium series against the Pens, that was an awesome game.
Do I want a Winter Classic shirt or hat, yes, because they are cool as hell. |

They got the ball moving now, which is great, but no way in hell should it be tied right now. |

Maybe Q is already coaching them?

Oh I know. I'm a big fan of his game and think he'll be in Chicago sooner rather than later. I just wanted to see him get the chance to play against the high competition to get a feel for where his game is at. Easy to be a big fish in a small pond in the Juniors but when its a World Tournament your facing the best every country has to offer and you can see how guys do against better competition at this stage of their development - Savetheembers33
Agree. While it would be cool to see Beaudin play on the WJC stage with similar talent across the globe, it’s not a big deal in the long run and isn’t an indictment against his potential for the NHL.
Another perspective is that DeBrincat is doing just fine and didn’t make Team USA. On the flip side, Colliton played in the WJC for Team Canada with Seabrook yet barely played in the NHL. |

I personally don’t get excited for these games anymore. They lost their appeal given that there are a few per year now. Might be cool if they did a tournament style exhibition like an All Star Weekend or World Cup of Hockey in the outdoor format. Not so much with regular season games.
For the first one the Blackhawks played in versus the Wings at Wrigley Field, I was very lucky to go and had an okay time. Cold as all heck, super crowded, and poor sight lines where we were sitting. Nice to experience once at least. |

Nothing and no word/confirmation from Q. Only seeing it reported by all of our beat reporters.
Biggest question - do any of his core waive to follow him? |

Was wondering about that too, as many other posters have said as well. |

They are 10 points out of a playoff spot.
Any “core help” would not likely help until next season. |

Philly has a prospect, Matthew Strome, is that Dylan's little brother? Is he supposed to be any good? |

Seems Columbus had suspicions about Dano when they included him in the Saad/Panarin trade...
Point of order... Dano was included in the Saad/Anisimov trade. |

No -- personally the first one was nice, it was great to win the one in Soldier Field... loved the snow... but I mean it reminded me of all of those Cubs-Sox exhibition games that they used to play before interleague play ... nice, but a waste of time.
Or worse, a gimmick to sell more different jerseys (ok - so I got a couple, but in my defense ... I waited until places were trying to clear them out ...).
But -I think you outlined it pretty well ... waste of time, and in this case ... I mean who wants to watch a cellar dweller in some hype-bowl? Probably not too many.. anywhere. |

Respectfully - I assume you don't sell or establish product pricing for a living.
In mid December, a sharp GM asks for the moon and stars for a player like Keith. He's a proven winner, a helluva competitor and somebody that can still log 25 minutes per night, every night. What the owner of the asset does not do is say "oh well, he isn't what he used to be and he doesn't really compare with Ryan McDonagh, so just make me an offer".
The absolutely correct approach is to hold out as long as it takes to get the maximum return. Even idiot Bowman knows that Dmen in this league are dropping like flies right now - Dumba just got hurt today, probably out for 4-6 weeks. Klefbom is out 2 months in Edmonton so they have to play Nurse 30+ minutes now. What happens if the Leafs or Vegas or Boston lose one for an extended period?
Sell high on Keith or don't sell. They have nobody that can replace him right now.
Also - I don't believe the Hawks are actively shopping Keith. If he wants out, he will request quietly and the club will do their best to accomodate him if the return is sufficient for a player of his caliber and reputation around the league. - RickJ
Totally agree with the start of your post. Hawks shouldn’t do anything to lower the price for DK. Get everything they can.
Regarding the DK request in bold, no one knows whether he hadnt already made that request.

Had seasons when they played the first one at Wrigley. Couldn't pay me to sit thru the newest money making gimmick. Gave my tix away for face but the guy who went with his wife loved it. ........ So each his own and I guess it brought attention to the sport and that's a good thing, but:
To the above add the glare which is most troubling and dangerous. Owners are damn lucky they didn't lose a 10 mil player due to this idiocy.
