Well based on that list if you hit that 18% luckbox you'd have roughly a 75% of landing an absolute stud.

Yes if we are trying to throw bologna on a wall and make it stick. The Rangers would find a way into that 25%.

In a year where there isn't a clear #1 i'd be inclined to join in on the pessimism train but jack hughes is jack hughes

Exactly- but would they draft Jack Hughes? That is the question.

An excellent question. 50/50 would be my guess.

Oh no Jack Hughes should go 1st overall, 100%. 31 out of 31 NHL teams should have him #1. Idk if the Rangers do.

I should have had 50% of 75% of 18% reduced further by Lundqvist.

I like Kakko. He's putting up really good numbers in the Finnish League. Now granted I've only seen his highlights. But he's having a season that is on par with Patrik Laine's draft year. I'd want Hughes at 1, but Kakko is gonna be good. If the Rangers luck out and manage to snag the 2nd pick due to the lotto, I'd be thrilled with Kakko.

Every comment you make speaks to your belief that they are making mistakes.
And my anger (which is pretty new, usually I'm Easy like Sunday morning) is because I'm sick of people expecting perfection from every guy on the roster at all times and treating poor play like it means the future is forever doomed and the world is ending. You don't think these guys would like to play mistake free? You don't think the front office knows they have deficiencies?
Why would I direct my anger at "JG" when my anger comes from people who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground acting like they know what needs to be done better than he does? How many clubs have you run?
How am I playing armchair GM when I am saying chill out and have faith in the REAL GM?

"Every comment you make speaks to your belief that they are making mistakes." Yeah that's all on you, you're sounding very hypocritical right now. Are you not a spazzing out because Andersson is about to sit in the press box? That sounds like a classic armchair GM to me. Nice try on the reverse psychology but you're the one acting like you know what's good and what isn't for this team. I don't need play that game when I'm already seeing what I told you would happen a few days ago.

I don't get it why you're freaking out about it. You weren't being logical these past few days about his place in the lineup. I tried to warn you that he was fixing to sit in the press box. As I said before, I think you need to write JG and Quinn a letter on how you don't approve of this move. Stop giving me the credit, I was just playing captain obvious.

Try to stick with the facts here. He got taken off the top 6 line. His 3rd line center winger experiment lasted a little bit longer but eventually he was DEMOTED ONCE AGAIN back down to the 4th line. I guess you weren't paying attention to where he started and ended up in the last couple of weeks? It was a easy call to put him in street clothes when 100% healthy. Quinn didn't want to even fit him into the special teams to get him more ice time among all the demotions that he received. My advice to you is to try and read the warning signs and let go of your narratives. Next time it'll be easier to see a future move coming or going.

Having said all this- I have no reason for it, but I have a really good feeling about Kravtsov!

Same. He is a bigger player physically more mature then Hughes right now. Both will be studs.

What if Kravtsov is a 30+ goal scorer? Does that change your opinon? He's already looking better than Wahlstrom who I think we all wanted on draft day. I'll give you the 4 or 5 LHD and Lindbom in the 2nd round were... less than optimal, at least as it looks now.

Alls i'm saying is i think they do the right thing if they ever have one of these hughes/dahlin/lafrienierre types available and a #1 pick

He's a American prospect who came up through the college ranks. He's suppose to have hands like Patrick Kane who can play center. I have a feeling we're going to see more of them and the Canadians boys in the David Quinn era.

I think that if Brady would have been still there for grabs than they would have picked him over Vitali.
