Hawks are just cheating to Sid. Making the other two make a play.
- Thorny87

Same as it’s been for a while now. Malkin, kessel, brassard. Ample opportunity to step up and simply make a play. And it’s not there. Malkin specifically has gotten either pilfered or simply shrugged off the puck any time he’s been in the zone.

he plays with the compete level/ effort of someone trying to avoid injury. sometimes you just have to out muscle the opponent and want the puck more than the other guy.I dont see it with him

Brassard is basically sheary without the effort

Seriously don’t even pull the goalie. It makes no sense when you’re absolute pussies on the puck.

Lot's of passengers again. Pretty sick of it. This team isn't going anywhere with Geno playing like this. I think he's got one 5v5 goal since Halloween....something like that.

Brassard sucks. Dude is 31, will not be extended they should move him.

Yeah Rust had a good game but at the end of the day he's still Bryan overpaid Rust.

Malkin is either injured or doesn't give a sh!t anymore. He's looked bad for a while now.

I dont think Sully finishes the season but JR needs the team to make the playoffs so I expect changes.

Geno shouldn't have seen the ice after that pathetic fly by defensive effort that led to their 4th goal. But of course, different rules for different players from this coaching staff.

Glad Cullen was back in. He sure added a lot...

Been saying a long time.......we can get much better use of 9.3 per year out of someone who isn't a turnover machinio....either get in the game of allow a trade.

Games like tonight are why I dont watch much hockey anymore. You get tired of wasting time on crap.

I dont know what the answer is but swapping out the Hagelins of the league isn't going to cut it.

Absolutely this... If he simply puts a body on that guy he can't pass it to the open man. Instead he curls up and skates the other direction. That pretty much sums up his last 5 or 6 weeks.

Like I've said before.... Some of these players are playing like they want to get the coach fired. Crosby has too much pride he's still playing great, but I can't say that about several of these guys.

That whole sequence was just brutal. Pens had momentum and it quickly ended right there. I couldn't believe that effort he gave there. Actually with the way he has been playing I can.

Sadly I was unable to watch the game. Normally I would be laughing my a$$ off that Rusty got a hatty, but that score. Brutal

Nothing has changed in my mind with this roller-coaster season....Pens need more roster moves/turnover to mix up the chemistry and find an identity.

The good thing about the rumors is teams like LA, ANA, MIN, and STL are teams that GMJR can make deals with out of conference.

The bad news is we may have to waste one of our precious few trade-able assets on a goalie.

Trade freeze will be coming up soon....I wouldn't be surprised to see another move before then.

Yup! This team started out improving when they stopped that and went back to short quick tape to tape passes.

I would love to see us make another move or two. This team needs a shake up. I wish TIOPS rumors were true. In a summary of their latest rumors STL has a lot of interest in Matt Murray. Min has extreme interest in Kessel and would put a big package together to acquire him (because players who are putting up points and is playing well in a season do not get moved in season unless someone pays a good price). Also in the article it talks about JR previously was talking bigger moves with Anaheim and LA, but settled for smaller moves. So he is saying he believes both teams continue to work with JR to try to negotiate the big moves. I wouldn't mind a big trade or two. Kessel, Malkin and Brassard looked like they were not even on the ice last night.
