Maybe they can make a trade like that. McCabe, Bailey/smith, d prospect + pick a guy with over $3m in salary for a guy with term left

I'm ready for Pilut to take over for McCabe. I like McCabe, but I don't see him in the top-4 long term, and I like the idea of churning the bottom pair

I'm almost thinking that a fast RW might help more than a center atm. The right side is kind of a poop show. Doesn't have to be a great player, just someone with some speed so I don't have to watch Okposo do loop dee loops in offensive corner as much

Not surprising. Botts isn't so much a "rental" player type of GM in the first place. Especially at this stage of the game. Perhaps if we were Cup contenders, but we're currently just playoff contenders.
