Wouldn't do it. I would make Hayes/Anderson/Buch/Skeji/lindgren available in some sort of combo |

They aren't gonna want Hayes, because it's likely they won't re-sign him. Andersson is a maybe, same with Lindgren. Until Skjei rounds back into form he almost has no value. His cap hit and contract kind of dictate that. |

|
Yeah cause that never happens... - tomburton99
I'm a huge Hayes fan and I'll be the first one to admit that yeah it won't happen. Teams would try to exploit his none 50 point season's as a way to give less in a return trade proposal. Add into the fact that this isn't Eric Karlsson type player who might be worth the presence for a season or so. It won't help that the Rangers GM was at charity events in Boston and taking time to be interviewed of how he can expect Hayes to resign. GM's would try and play JG for that. |

Neither were Paul Stastny and Rick Nash.... |

Yea Skeji has 0 trade value right now. Tarasenko is still 26 and elite. Would love to add him |

Yeah exactly which is why St.Louis would probably ask for 3 or more high prized assets. Think of it in terms of Kreider. If the Rangers trade Kreider they better get back a 1st and a prospect. |

I'd hustle them into Buch or Kreider, Skjei and Andersson and a pick. Though I wouldn't be to sad to see Chytil and Skjei go to STL for him.
Rangers would have a much better shot at winning the Panarin sweepstakes. Like Kovalchuk, I don't think the NYR ( Russian affiliation ) could help land a big time Russian name through free agency. |

More than Hayes if we're going by rep and point totals. |

Rick Nash was 34 and injury riddled when he was traded. |

Hayes is my favorite player on the roster and you make me hate him - Greschnergy#4
I don't get how I play that much of a role in your life but okayy. The only way I hate Hayes is if he's asking for 6.5+ million per year. Or if I hear he's punting dogs into the river for fun. |

Bruins had cap space and they're in a win now mode. I think they expected that where Nash is at that he would want to be on a team that's going for it. Hayes age and chance to cause a bidding war ( if Duchene isn't available) will make teams wait to pony up until the summer. Until than, he's just a 40 something point player and that's the kind of value he'll get offers from in terms of trade speculation. |

So to summarize you
Nash was worth more because he was older, less productive and the Bruins had cap space. (which thry didn't). But teams won't want Hayes because he's a center, puts up similar numbers as 34 year old Rick Nash.
Sure thing, child. |

its because you are obnoxious in your support of him, your overall know it all attitude and your inability to recognize sarcasm. |
