I'd certainly be shopping Simmonds and Jake now.

This roster needs a major overhaul. Enough is enough.

Amen......I want it blown up

If you’re Fletcher, man, you have to be looking at this thing and saying that you need to do something big

They either can’t get saves or they can’t check. Something. But they give up too many goals. Bottom line. It has to stop. It just has to stop

- AllInForFlyers

Fire the coach and bring in Quenneville. See how the team plays under his tutelage. Determine where you need to tweak your roster to accommodate his system. This isn’t rocket science.

MJL can make excuses all he wants. This team is talented but doesn’t play to their potential. The only thing they have done consistently under Hakstol is be inconsistent.

No idea what options hes looking at. I hope from what hes seen he realised he cant jusr sprinkle in complimentary pieces. This team needs some major moves. They're not building towards anything right now.

Please don’t do anything until after you’ve replaced the coach.

Which, by the way, should be as soon as they get back from this road trip. He should be working on Quenneville now.

He's definitely dealing something. He wouldn't have talked with half the teams already if he wasn't making a trade

We can stomach it if Jake goes the other way but do they want that contract?

They may as what FA is signing there with that ownership nightmare. It's a comedy how people view their owner

I doubt it, if they were willing to pay that then they would of re-signed Stone before the arbitration hearing for a longer term.

Fletch will send the 1st to Columbus for Bob, then we'll watch him proceed to rip his groin in half.
- Tomahawk

Idk why everyone thinks we are gonna give up huge assets for declining goalies when stolarz is obviously playing well in front of this mess.

That may be the case, but Stone gave Ottawa his price, I believe around 8-8.5M, before arbitration and Ottawa wouldn't budge.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember Ottawa's offer was like 5.5-6M. Arbitrator ruled 7.3M.

They need to get something for him and if they aren't getting FA to come there. They may need to sack up and accept a high priced contract back.

Agreed. I think Stolie has calmed the goalie issue for the time being.

I'm fine with Elliott and Stolie for now. Neuvy better like splinters, popcorn and buses.
