Calgary burned theirs then
- dragonoffrost

So we literally put Weise on after a timeout in a 5-4 game

Man. That is fireable, to me

It worked for other teams...hell of a lot easier to rebuild when you draft a 1st overall franchise player.
- Glak18

Weird is that this team has never gotten 1st-overall naturally.

1975 1st-overall was via trade. And they lost the 2007 lottery.

Because this poop is ridiculous, man! Your PK sucks ass, so you take ridiculous penalties on the road?

Dale Weise on in the last minute? Are you kidding me? Did we use our timeout earlier and I don’t remember?

Because if they scored that goal to make it 5-4, and we had a timeout to burn and we didn’t, and we put Weise out there...WTF

- AllInForFlyers

Yeah just not going to win games when you can only use a handful of guys to play the bulk of the minutes. Why are they even dressing guys Hak can't use?

Scored on put out fourth line. Old school coaching logic.only thing is Hak shortened bench and stapled two of that line.

Even previous drafts if they get lucky with the 2nd overall they get a solid jump right in player. The Flyers have the worst luck or they are losing on purpose during the worst years.

At least this year they have a chance at Hughes.

So glad they fired the guy who was "unyielding" in his evaluation of the team

St. Louis today reportedly said everyone is on the table. How far are we from that tonight?

My biggest fear is the Flyers trade for a goaltender, don't care who it is, pay a premium and they are still nothing more than a .500 team.

Ok Hak is seeing all the same problems the people watching the game is...don't tell me what they are doing that they shouldn't. How are YOU going to fix it?

Saying "C'mon guys stop doing that" is not working.

I am officially apathetic towards this team. This type of poop has happened far too much the last few years. Blow it all up. What a (frank)ing disgrace.

This is bad because at some point, you cannot lose with your weak players on the ice. No way I get tied up with Weise on

Fletch will send the 1st to Columbus for Bob, then we'll watch him proceed to rip his groin in half.

I forgot the need for a 3rd line cemter, to be nicer to alumni, to listen attentively to others

If those thing would of been done there would be no need for a "bias for action"

Too many players that can only play limited minutes and situations...

Those players need to be cut loose for better players.

I still say call Ottawa about Duchene. Get permission to speak to his agent. If you can make a handshake deal on an extension send Jake the other way. Ottawa has a hard time keeping and signing UFAs so this could make sense for them.

Stone would make more sense, a defensive forward who can score. Sign me up, but that is going to be one expensive contract I won't like.

If you’re Fletcher, man, you have to be looking at this thing and saying that you need to do something big

They either can’t get saves or they can’t check. Something. But they give up too many goals. Bottom line. It has to stop. It just has to stop
