A bunch of smiles. Build off of this boys. Scoring and great plays all around, some hiccups here and there, but it's a W. Heroic effort by Crow! Have a good rest of the night you guys!

Pierre is a friggin' weirdo!?!?

Build off this? Lol...that’s rich

What good will winning a few games do? We need to lose, lose again, and keep on losing. Any win from here on out is counter productive.

I'm sure Bettman called them before the game, and during the 2nd intermission.

You do know there's a lottery? Worst record guarantees you nothing

Top 3 minute Dmen tonight for the Hawks.

Keith
Murphy
Dahlstrom

Nothing flash from Dahlstrom but steady overall.

Jokiharju was decent but what I have to remind myself tonight is that he is only 19. He isn't likely near his ceiling yet, so they might have a heck of a good Dman here in another couple seasons.

There’s a greater chance the worse your record gets. Might as well have the absolute worst.

It was only one game but Dahlstrom looked pretty decent out there, maybe when Forsling is healthy, you can slot him for Seabs who can go by by for a while, great effort over 60, Sikura showed some nice jam at times too, 4th line really good.

Very solid effort by Dahlstrom.

Asked around about his call-up and my guy thought it might be a replacement for Jokiharju while he heads to the WJHC in 10 days or so. Not confirmed but thought it was a real possibility #28 heads to BC to represent Finland.

Seriously what would you expect a RIVAL GM to say ?? That Bowman is a terrible GM ??? Sorry.....not buying it. His FAILURES have been noted, scrutinized, and totally factual. NEW Leadership is desparately needed in this organization immediately.

Happy you know how to cut and paste an article from LeBrun. What does this have to say about a team President that doesn’t know the first thing about player talent evaluation/development or roster construction? Yet, by many accounts wants/insists on being involved in Stan’s decisions. McD didn’t even know what offsides was ten years ago - yet here he is involved up to his elbows.

You can trot out this article to every post that’s critical of the front office - call us all “arm chair GMs” - but do you really think this is all an unavoidable demise - that no more functional front office could have maybe, just maybe navigated these waters more effectively? If not, then good for you and you’re entitled to your opinion. As for me, I’m not buying it. McD is a fraud - and the Hawks turnaround needs to start with his removal.

- Chief4Feathers

And as usual, you like so many other people here misinterpret his involvement with on ice decisions.

Does he like to be in on the meetings about players as team president - absolutely.

Does he even begin to dictate to the people in the room that know what they are doing what he thinks they should be doing - absolutely not!!!!

But you and the other posters keep believing that false narrative - after all - it's you and they that created it.

And again - it's always good for a laugh!!!!!

Care to elaborate? You haven’t really presented an argument other than posting LeBrun’s article.

And another thing.....

You and others can continue to bash McDonough for what you believe - but the person who matters the most - Rocky Wirtz - thinks he has done a brilliant job selling this team to some of the worst sports fans in America. And all the whining and complaining from most of you - after one of the most successful decades this town has EVER seen - just fortifies that thought.

Bill Wirtz had nothing but contempt for fair weather fans like you and so many of the other posters here. It would have been his greatest joy to deny you of ANY of it - had he lived to have a say in it.

So keep talking about McDonough being the problem here - while Rocky gives him a raise for being the president of a sports team that went from 200 million - to over a billion in value. His opinion is the ONLY one that matters.

But all of you - keep going with your nonsense!!!!

It's you that are the absolute embarrassment of the NHL - and most people outside of this little Chicago hate fest that read this - would agree!!!!!

Stay classy Chicago!!!!!

This afternoon on NHL radio Boomer Gordon and his yes man lackey were all over Ryan Rust for not scoring after signing a nice contract. Even so called experts are idiots some of the time.

No Gus, Rutta or Fortin.
Effort all night from the beginning.
Crawford standing tall all night.

Pride must have found its way in as well.

Let’s be real though - this is a lottery team, and we should want that.

You provide no value to this blog. Fair weather fans who watch every game of the worst team in the league? Who post at work and on off days bc they live for Blackhawks hockey?? That’s a fair weather fan? You are a spiteful and angry clown and your “sources” are an even bigger joke.

Do us all a favor and get lost.

Joki looked excellent too. did Sikura see the ice in the 3rd?

Colliton should leave Strome between Cat and Kane. Kahun effective with Toews-Saad too.

Nice to see the depth contributions from Martinsen and Kruger. Andreas 1st Star!! Love it. Poor guy thought he was getting an interview....

Martinsen 6 hits in 7 minutes. Everyone whines about the lack of ‘grit’, but Martinsen can skate, and he likes to run into people. He can play 4th line grinder on my team anytime.

He his skating is ok. Problem is he doesn’t bring that every game. The lack of grit is really in the top 6. Outside of Dcat we don’t have much.

Worst sports fans in America??? Because we have choices to make with our money and rightfully expect value for its expenditure? Or at least honesty?

Tell you what - the team’s value will continue to track up and down with its on ice success no matter who runs things. And buddy, it’s way down, and headed further down, until they contend again.

Believe what you wish about McD. He will claim plausible deniability for failures scapegoating those in between him and the bench, but is front and center claiming all of the credit when the harvest is bountiful.
