I'm really glad you are wrong about him being a bust. Patience Lefty!
- boonerbuck
So it’s too early to call him a bust but not to early to call it a win? |

I am a Sutter fan but Gaudette is ready IMO. Trade Sutts for an asset - VANTEL
I'm optimistic for him but I don't see him as ready now. He could be playing bigger minutes and working on his game in Utica.

Where's (frank)en Marwood after a win? JK I don't care where he is. - manvanfan
Fans cheering for the Canucks really bugs him. Give him some space.

he's a bust for a 6th overall pick in the world but you keep waiving those pom-poms big fella lol.
Edit: a serviceable middling six forward though, I'll take it! - LeftCoaster
Giving credit to our players is a negative thing to you. Not that we didnt already know that after these last 4 seasons.

Agree, teach him how to PK in the bigs, 12min TOI per night this year and let him grow into a bigger role (if he earns it). |

Brayden Point leading the 2014 draft class in scoring this season. Maybe it's not a good idea to let a player that scores 91 points in 72 games slip to the 3rd round. |

He has been playing 11.30 avg in the last two games . Green is beginning to trust him. He won't get much more than that in Utica.

Virtanen over Goldobin 10/10 no question. They had two cracks at it in the 2014 first round and failed at both. It's not as easy as we make it out to be though. I like what Virtanen brings now that he's matured a bit personally. Kind of a Chris Kreider player. |

Benning is a genius. I know because we think a like
This year is about developing and preparing for next season. Having a bottom 6 that has time to build chemistry for the run to the playoffs next season. |

It just ended up being not a very strong draft in 2014. |

True....it wasn't a particulary great draft but they did have the 6th overall pick in the entire world and they couldn't come up with a top six forward. That's the disappointing part for me, however, they changed their process and are seemingly drafting better now. So there is that.
Kevin Labanc was taken in the 6th round and he's got twice as many points as Virtanen. I was happy about the Virtanen pick, but I didn't know anything about him, just surface stuff. When you look into it, he has a really poor hockey IQ, something they probably should have been able to identify. |
