Not that it isn’t impressive, but these weird milestone games are getting a bit stupid. 26 games? No one ever gets a truck for playing their 1026th game in the NHL...

________________26 games | rookie season
Elias Pettersson.............30 ??
Evgeni Malkin................30 85
Alex Ovechkin...............29 106
Sidney Crosby...............28 102
Connor McDavid............28 48
Patrick Kane.................27 72
Patrik Laine..................21 64
Johnny Gaudreau..........20 64
Auston Matthews..........20 69

Let's see where he finishes his rookie year before we start claiming that.
Gretzky was 110 its in his WHA rookie season, 137 in his first NHL year, by comparison

Well 2 years in a row he has been breaking records of some of the best players of all time. I will be honest he reminds me of Gretz in a lot of ways. We just need to wait and see what we have but I think he is growing in to my all time Canuck favorite.

Now we need a GM who can build a team around him.

If he can come in at a ppg in his rookie year, I would say that would be unreal. Depends on if him and Brock can stay healthy for the year but he could very well do that.

I can see him hitting Barzal status from last year. So give or take 80 points if he keeps this up.

I don’t understand why they still do anthems at sporting events. If they are international sure, but city vs city is stupid.

What a bad way to start the game. Those early goals are killer.

But this GM drafted him, and the arguably the next best player around him... and a few more ontheri way next year. So... no, I’m not so sure we do.

Debatable, whether or not Gagner faired well in his recent call-up.
Seen 4 Sharks games this season, Karlson has zero idea where to be on the ice, when it is in the defending side of centre.
No Ducking Thank you, to Erik Karlson

Marek was saying on 31 thoughts last week that he's seen EK get beat often to the outside this year - says his ankle injury is starting to slow down how fast he can/can't turn anymore.

He’s still good. I’d avoid anything over 4 years for him though. If he’d ever want to sign here.

of course he's still good - just pointing out an interesting thing to consider. He's gonna want his 8 years like anyone else in his position, last contract, ride off into the sunset. Stupid hair cut, dumb moustache

How? They win less face offs with Granlund playing center?

are you watching? AG is a more engaging 3rd line center then MG , who i like better on a wing, i meant that it is a good thing when a young player has made himself a noticeable absence
