My opinion. Poor skating primarily.

so nothing really? its funny that you think a 20 year who just began his professional career 2 months ago is incapable/unlikely of improving his skating....

now that they're out of junior, don't have other commitments like school, are making more money and have access to much better facilities, coaches, trainers, experts, but you got their career trajectory figured out after 10-15 games...

Gadj skating improved quite a bit since last year, he has an awkward stride but he's been consistently moving up the lineup and gaining more trust/mins from Cull. Lind had a pretty nasty injury that kept him out of the lineup for over 3 weeks.

My opinion is nothing? Well so is yours, go (frank) yourself. I watch the prospects play and I try to project what their future may be. I have my favourites and ones that I think were poor picks (Gadjovich for example). Pretty sure that’s what hockey buzz is for. A bunch of random people sharing their opinions on all things hockey.

Worst part about Gadjovich other than his poor skating is seems to shy away from physical contact. I somewhat agree on Lind as it’s hard to gauge his progress due to injuries

I'm with you on Gadjovich for sure, there's a reason that a guy with his size/numbers was available in the 3rd round. He skates in mud. Would've been a nice prospect to have back when the league was more physical.

I'm still holding out hope for Lind, an injury early on in his pro career doesn't help. But yeah, his skating/strength is not up to par for the even the AHL right now from what I've seen and read from Comets watchers. I've always viewed him as a longer term prospect that would require patience, hopefully he has that inner drive you mentioned to improve his body as much as possible.

I was hoping for Nicolas Hague, with the Lind pick and Josh Brook, with the Gadjovich pick, but was fine selecting at least 1 forward in that round.

Ya agreed, I’m not giving up on Lind either...his production last year was just too impressive. But he will need to make some huge strides with the comets in the latter part of the season.

Did burtuzzi say that EP is already the 3rd best player in the league on the radio? Lol wtf. This hype is getting a bit out of control

Got to be one of the biggest question marks in the draft where he goes.

I don't know how much of a wiener the kid is but he's putting up numbers better then Marchand did. Somebody might steal this kid later than 15oa.

Marchand is 6th in his draft in scoring. Another Midget Debrincat is 5th in the 16' draft in scoring.

Pelletier is putting up numbers worthy of a top 10 pick in the draft. Being 5'9" I wonder what GM has the balls to take him that high.

If we don't win the draft lottery to pick Jack Hughes, you gotta think that a right shot defense would have to be the selection priority... but that's just my humble opinion

Well, Tuesday's win was an unexpected delight.

New blog is up, explaining why the late heroics came as such a surprise:

I didn't mean your opinion is nothing, i meant you're basing his improvement or lack-of on it and thats not accurate. In training camp he said his first 3 steps have improved and he talked about working on his lateral movements with his skating coach. He definitely has an awkward stride but he's not a bad skater and can keep pace with the play and doesn't look out of place. I think the physically play with come as he continues to gain trust and confidence from Cull. Hopefully he'll get some better line mates than Bancks and Woods.

Well for our sake I hope you are right and I’m wrong. Hopefully he gets some decent linemates later in the season

Granlund has 2 points in the last 15 games.

Trade him when Baertschi is back.

- manvanfan

i would trade Goldy first after Sven is back , MG can actually play defensive minutes when needed
