Because he’s a foundation piece for this group going forward. In the playoffs, he was good when the games meant something and that’s when he’s at his best. And he gives us the edge we need to compete in the playoffs.

Leivo has half the point production in Vancouver in 4 games as he did in Toronto in 27 games .

Therefore Canucks> Leafs

Hey I haven't brought them up in months. It is funny how stupid some posters can be in here. He doesn't really believe I think assists don't matter but if he doesn't try to attack me on here he doesn't have an agenda or audience then.

He went on vacation last week to Maui and it was nice and quiet that week. I was really pulling for the sharks to have a big week and I don't mean the San Jose Sharks

Hughes on the Canucks : With all the young talent it is a very exciting time for the organization and also for me. The plan is to sign after this season with the goal of playing in the NHL by next season.

TG will have something to say about his earning his ice time. To Utica he goes.

Sutter for Charlie Coyle.
- nucks_94

Would make that deal anyday and I like Sutter.

Coyle isn't injury prone either like Sutter is now.

Sounds like Coyle wants out of Minny too.

Green will be told by FA and JB that Hughes will not spend one minute in Utica.

Book it.

Of course he shouldn't, he's probably a top pairing D on this team right now without ever playing an NHL game.

Got to be one of the biggest question marks in the draft where he goes.

I don't know how much of a wiener the kid is but he's putting up numbers better then Marchand did. Somebody might steal this kid later than 15oa.

Marchand is 6th in his draft in scoring. Another Midget Debrincat is 5th in the 16' draft in scoring.

Pelletier is putting up numbers worthy of a top 10 pick in the draft. Being 5'9" I wonder what GM has the balls to take him that high.

I think they've really changed their process, an example of that is the Tyler Madden pick, Jake Wise was ranked way ahead of Madden but they identified Madden as having more upside and compete-level. So they took him. Looks like they made the right choice, so far anyways.

So far anyways? Madden has looked incredible. Tracking way better than Gaudette

No, you're correct, I was wrong, I looked back and I was mistaking Jake Wise for Jack Drury.

That said, my point still stands they identified two kids ranked within five to ten picks of each other and made the right choice. Something they didn't do with Virtanen, which was my original point. Ehlers & Nylander both ranked right there with Jake Virtanen but they didn't make the right pick.

Water under the bridge, things changed in their process and I think they're making better decisions.

Canucks got roasted for not taking Wise. Madden looks better than whalstrom

Cool your jets Donna. It's like 14 games, and the kid is a shrimp. Maybe we give him a few years in college before penciling him in the lineup...
