Even if the Devs go on a decent winning streak to get back in the playoff picture, does anyone realistically think this team could go far in the playoffs? If they have any tradeable assets it is time to elevate/showcase them and continue the rebuild. This team has some nice pieces , just not enough.

Look at the bright side:

-LJ will never skate as a Devil again following this season, nor will Stafford or (Boyle?)
-Greene will be in his final year
-Joey Anderson and Ty Smith should be quality players capable of big minutes
- Good chance we draft a STUD of a player this year
-Tons of cap space
-Bobrovsky/Stone/Panarin/Pavelski/EK all UFA's, most of which are very unlikly to re-sign with their current team.

This year isn't shaping up well, but I am stoked on the possibilities ahead!
