I don't hate it. I think in the short term G needs to play center. Let's try and dig ourselves out of this hole. If we have made up some ground in a month or so we should try and aquire a 2/3C depending what's out there. Wishful thinking, but maybe Patrick finds his groove and G can go back to wing at some point. I just don't see how we can leave G on the wing with our center options at the moment.

I don't mind this lineup, especially the 4th. Varone can't be worse than Weal (losing the puck in every puck battle), and he may have a bit more of a scoring touch.

Not sure I’m sold on Jonathan Quick....but for those suggesting he’s a big injury risk....the guy has played in more then 60 games in 3 of the last 4 years. Yes he was injured for part of this year as well, but appears to be healthy again.

Switch TK and Raffl. G and JVR need someone who can do the dirty work in the corners and be defensively responsible on their line and TK has played well with Coots and Jake in the past.

I would 100% make this trade but it would also guarantee Sandstrom will be an elite goaltender for a decade with our luck haha.

Obviously the depth is much weaker at center but they guy is our best winger as well so that goes both ways. Hell he would probably be our best Dman if he was back there too.

probably giving up a first...alongwith Ruby ...I guess it depends if Chi likes Sandstrom.
