Oz hasn't been that bad. I'm more worried about Zaitsev who seems to have gone to Komisarek's Hockey Camp over the summer and unlearned how to make a pass.

Leafs would have to sweeten the deal for the Blues to take Zaistev in a Petro trade..

Moving Zaistev is a plus for Toronto, IMO. So if you move Zaistev, and get a top pairing RHD in the same deal it’s going to be costly. I think it would be worth it though

Dont wanna give the type of player kapinen is. Hes a player that makes things happen when things are tight. Not common in most players. Marner makes things happen with iq and being slick. Kapinen uses speed. And to a lesser extent hyman with hard work. As much as we might want to do something. It has to be on the cheap so to speak. As much i have been guilty of this as well. We need to be patient. We are only half way there. And that bruins team keeps showing us. We have done everything right so far. Lets keep that up. Pain isnt over quiet just yet.

This is probably their best year and chance.

You see were not being conservative gets ya. Ask buffalo fans where all those trades got them a few years back. Now they are behind the leafs rebuild. And to add. Brown is not junk. Theres a reason alot of teams would want him off your list. Need to still be patient. Pains not over yet. This is the real hard part of the rebuild.

Ya people keep saying for the leafs to be patient for years and then drool over how good tampa is
Tampa has made bold moves which has helped them become the great team they are now. Along with some patience and great drafting.
