I'm gonna have to disagree. People believing stupid poop leads others to believe in stupid poop. It's a slippery slope.

Starts with thinking the moon landing was fake, then onto flat Earth nonsense, then that leads to the biggest retards of all; the Anti-vaxxing idiots.

People can believe in things, but don't go against science and poop.

It's one thing to say, "don't get worked up about others that have dumb ideas". This I can get behind somewhat. Don't get stressed about what some idiot celebrity thinks.

It's another thing to act like it's ok and totally ignore it.
If you meet someone that thinks electricity isn't real, are you going to be like, "Well, I don't want to force him to believe what he doesn't want to believe", and watch while he kills himself or worse, convinces some other impressionable people, like kids, that electricity isn't real. And then see several of them get injured or killed messing with electrical wiring or some poop.

Obviously my example is a bit more dangerous than some moron not believing in the moon landing, but the point stands that when someone is saying crazy stuff, you should at least take notice.
