OK so I don't post on here very often but what about this for a trade to st Louis for pietrangelo Toronto sends gardiner and zietsev as well as maybe a 2nd straight up for pietrangelo reason bein if were going to lose gards anyway may as well cut the cost on our part plus if st Louis is going rebuild they have gards for trade bait at deadline to gain picks and prospects

Serious question, How the heck are you going to sign Matthews, Kapanen, Marner & Gardner? Matthews gets min of 12mil right? Marner gets 7-8 Mil?, Kapanen 4-5 Mil? Gardner you could let go but you have no D as it is. Does he get 5 Mil? that puts you guys way over the 2019 projected cap. Not trolling at all, I am just interested to hear from a T.O fan's perspective how the hell you are going to sign your firepower and still have a Defense.
