Eichel has 38 pts in 31 games this season and ya'll are complaining about him being overpaid. That's a 1.22 PPG clip. Please someone tell me the last time we had a player like that here. A decade? Two?

Some of you here are just absolute cancer.... I mean. I used to love coming here to talk with other intelligent... well at least hockey knowledgable people because I don't get that in the midwest but damn.. I walk away from this website some days just praying you guys don't beat your dogs and cats because the Sabres have 2 PPG players, are the 3rd best team in the NHL, and have a young talented core.

You would find a way to complain about getting a bj from a supermodel every day.

- JVince11

That's what happens when you constantly lose for 7 years...You get very cynical. I agree, some people like to complain just for the sake of complaining around here but everyone is entitled to their own opinions...You just do you, let the others hate if they want to..

Go Buffalo and F the Leafs.....

Yeah but they played more than our 2nd line... so they should have scored more goals.

I see we are feeding a fed horse with the same topics...

We should grab the rose by the thorn and come up with something else to talk about

Then, just maybe, we can bring home the bagels.

What's the price tag for Charlie Coyle?
- bluengold12

Always liked him. Seems like a high-energy guy who can chip in a timely goal now and then....wow, I just flashed back and realized both 22 and 28 scored last night. I may have to hit the milk of magnesia cuz I almost sharted.

btw Girgs goal was an absolute beauty.

Girgensons in his role is actually been a breath of fresh air. Absolute animal. Of course you wish it wasn't from a 14th overall pick but at least he is earning his keep. Its no secret I've always been really high on Girgensons but I always viewed him as a bruising 2LW like a poor man's Lucic but hey... I'll take this.

Pominville can have success with Jeff and Jack. The almighty Reinhart should be able to spark Sheary and Mitts.
- Pegullaville

Totally agreed. I've been asking for this for a while. Jack is so awesome he can spark (carry) anyone.

Think of all the players who have had success with Jack over the last few years. Everyone that plays with him finds the back of the net.

With the need to get our second/third line going (i.e. not the larry line - despite ice time, that's still our checking/defense line which I consider our fourth line) the Eich, Skinn, Rino line should be busted up.

Nice to see another comeback win out of these guys. A little too regular of an occurrence at this point but I still like the resiliency.

This is a very easy fix. Phil must be an idiot not to think of it.

If they played Eichel, Skinner and Rhino less, and played Lockport Larry, Gasport Girgs, and whomever rides shotgun with those two some more minutes...well then our 4th line, which according to some is actually our 2nd would then become our 1st; whilest our current 1st would then drop to be our 2nd...continue scoring at the current rate...BOOM our 2nd line would then be fixed and carrying the team.

Ok, I'm now moving on to address the Middle East situation

Sheary - Eichel - Okposo
Skinner - Mitts - Reinhart
Thompson - Pod Racer - Pommer
Girgs - Larsson - E-Rod

I know taking Skinner off 1LW is tough, but I think you'll get production out of Jack, Sheary and Okposo will get going. I'd hope the additions of Skinner and Reinhart would jump start Mitts's scoring.

Doubt it happens. I understand a lot would be opposed to moving Skinner away from Jack, but I just think it makes us more competitive.

I agree with this lineup. The moral of the story is that we are not Colorado or Boston. We need to move one of those guys off of the top line to create more secondary scoring. The power play also has to be much better.

Until Girgensons and Larry scored last night, Ullmark had more points then our forward group over the course of the previous five games. Like that is mind blowing.

Silent Sam is on a 7 game point streak. He is the king of producing points and not even noticing him on the ice for 70% of his TOI so kudos to him.

Jack has 5 multipoint games in his last 6 games. His 15 multipoint games has him tied for first in the league.

Skinner is up to 21 goals on the season and his overtime goal last night gave him 3 on the year which leads the league if I'm not mistaken.

Sabres are 6-7-2 when down after 2 periods which leads the league.
