Calm down, nobody said that is going happen. The main focus now and has been is JEFF SKINNER. It's up to him if wants what the Sabres will offer him if not, he will be moved. Doesn't look like that will happen as of now. Nylander is nothing and Guhle is nothing also.

Once they are given more time, I will agree. Right now we have 3 lines getting 3rd line minutes, and only one of those lines is immune to criticism
- jcragcrumple

looking deep at the stats, 2/3 of Jack's zone starts are in the other end
over 73% of casey's are in the other end
okposo 61%
sheary 71%

e-rod 20%
larsson 12%
pod racer 31%

thompson, 39% which is shockingly low

Issue is you need to dump 10.5 MM in salary to bring in Kane.

I think if Casey, Okposo, Sheary, Berglund, Pommer, dirty pod racer and Thompson step up, Larsson becomes an afterthought on issues with this team right now

Girgens and Larsson on the 4th line is the least of our worries, as is the top line

- homiedclown

Girg’s and Larsson on the 4th line is a huge strength of this team. They finally have the perfect role and they’re (frank)ing great at it.

I'm not suggesting, I've been against P Kane coming back here for years now. Anyone here can tell you that.

Because playing 22 and 28 in the offensive zone is a waste of everyone's time. -10, on pace for 8 points while getting 3rd line minutes. If that's acceptable, then he's doing terrific. Congrats to us

I would love Kane on this team... Can't we have them both? You would have to find a home for Okposo, i think it can be done...

They tried it last year, and with subpar talent on his wings, the line actually drove posession...
But it never really produced off of that possession metric in terms of goals.
The Q is; do they have wingers who can bank the possession with him this year?
We don't know, seems Housley isn't excited to try it out.

Several posters have hit the nail on the head recently, the middle six is not poroducing and should be taken to task for it...Berglund, Sobotka, Okposo, Thompson, Mitts, Pommer (to some degree) ERod. Wtf...earn your paycheck...time for each to step up...talk about Sam doing more to improve...what aboug thgese guys?...all vets except Tage and Mitts...where is their leadership?

The problem isn't Eichel, Skinner, Sam, Girgs, nor Lockport Larry (love that nickname)

Jesus Christ, get a friggin grip peeps!
Year of Transition ... from 31 to ???...enjoy thd building of a team in front of your eyes!
Appreciate it for what it is worth.

I really can't wait to see how Tronna handles sigining Matthews, Marner, Kapanen & Gardiner.. They all ready have 57 Mil locked up for next year but will have 10 RFA/UFA's.. Matthews gets a min of 12 (right?) Marner gets Nylander money (7Mil) Kapanen maybe 5 Mil and Gardiner 5 Mil? That puts them at 86 Mil, that would be over the projected cap and they still would have 5 unsigned spots .. They are so screwed...

Not if u think about it
He’s mostly been on line 3 or 4
If the top2 lines are getting such high
O-zones starts,
the bottom 2 will obviously get much less

I think Marner gets closer to Eichel money than Nylander. I don't seem him getting anything less than 9.

The general consensus i keep hearing is that they’re gonna let Gardner walk or trade him

Kapanen they’ll sign to a smaller bridge deal
With Marner, they might have a “Nylander situation” all over again, trying to get him as cheap as possible

They’ve definitely got some issues to work around, but I’m sure they’ll work it out for the most part
