Yeah, probably. The only good thing Shattenkirk brings at this point is that he's a decent option for the shootout.

I like the idea of the Rangers being able to compete next year. But what brings me back down off that cloud is that they still have Shattenkirk, Staal and Smith on the roster. With Skjei quickly approaching that group. So if you're going to have 21.95 million in liabilities on your blue line, you're screwed.
