If Q is still under contract from the Hawks, does Philly have to compensate Chicago for picking him up? If so, I would think the Hawks would ask for a 1st round draft choice or a prospect or two?

No more compensation for hiring ex coaches/execs, it was an asinine rule, why would a team be compensated for someone else hiring someone they fired. And even if that wasn't the case why the (frank) would anyone pay that much?

Interesting. Hiring Coach Q should get the Flyers closer to where they should be. The team has enough talent to win a lot of games, but don't. What could be the issue? Goal tending and coaching. End of story.

Players make a good coach.Without good players good coaches dont exist.When you have a stacked line up its very easy to be a good coach.Quenneville knows this and wont come to a team that has glaring holes.He will wait until he sees a team that is stacked or on its way to being stacked. Like Babcock.He isnt a great coach he just had 2 teams who had great players.When the leafs had nobody they still sucked under Babcock.

In my opinion there are 4 Hungry Hungry Hippos...Leafs, Sabres, Flyers, and Habs. Buzz. Buzz. There are only a couple of marbles still in the game...Nylander, Parayko, and Puljijarvi. The Flyers are also playing Jenga with the Leafs and the Pens are playing Battleship with the Blues over Matt Murray.
