I’m stunned that was a no goal

I never know anymore, but he clearly pushed off of RNH and established more blue space. To me it was as obvious a case of interference as there is, but I've seen the Oilers get screwed plenty of times.

Based off what the precedent has been this year, that shouldn't count. However, minor contact like that shouldn't negate a goal in my opinion.

Eh, he could have saved it with his glove if the dude wasn't there.

Yes we have certainly have had some calls go against us for sure so I’m not going to feel bad about when they go our way

Could have, yes but would he have? No guarantee. Maybe I just enjoy goals too much. I understand that they can't really keep it as a judgement call as that led to serious inconsistencies (more so than even now). Almost HAVE to make it a simple binary.

Koskenin has saved the season with how he has played....Chiasson has been a good pickup I’m just not sure how long he keeps it up for....milk it for it’s worth tho
- RatedR80

Just as long as Chia isn't allowed to reward them like he did Russel

The problem with the simple binary is you end up with Brett Hull's skate in the crease - and ignore the binary option.

But it's basically this, I think: if an opposing player goes into the blue prior to the puck on his own and his position impedes the goalie from moving, whether he objectively would have made the save or not, then it should be considered interference.
