He's from there and has said SEVERAL TIMES he wants to bring a winner there. It's WELL KNOWN that they have investors ready to put in, if it means bringing Matthews home. It's been reported every where - RippedFuel
No he hasn't.
And in this article Eklund actually points out he has no interest in leaving. LOL.
Admit it, this is just s fantasy. You think if the Leafs offer 13 million per for 8 years he turns it down? |
|
|
|
Talk about jealous.. ppl hate the fact that the Leafs are better than their team! So they try to focus on the negatives or what could be instead of the reality.. Matthews, Marner, Tavares and Nylander are all Leafs!! |

You aren't ansswering these questions at all. There is no "Smart Investing" in Arizona hockey. They've neveer broken even once since 1996. Any other league would have moved them years ago. |

Ripped idiot there has been spewing his nonsense for a couple weeks. Honestly I think he got frostbite on the frontal lobe or something. Always claiming his inuendo and opinion are facts and in general making an intolerable ass out of himself everyone either ignores or mocks. Best just to scroll past the troll and ignore it, it's one of the worst on the site at this point!
I think Carlton the Bear touched him in a bad place once like the old Garden's washrooms or something |

It'll be AT LEAST 16...its been reported everywhere that the bidding starts at 16. |

A few holes in your plan:
AZ is teetering on bankruptcy.
Jersey sales are league revenue, not team revenue.
AZ is teetering on bankruptcy.
The Leafs are not in cap hell.
AZ did not sell recently.
AZ does not have two nickels to rub together.
Matthews is a competitive guy, so it is doubtful he would want to go to a poop franchise.
But hey, don't let me get in the way of your masterbation around ruminations about the ruination of Leafs Nation.
51 years since a Stanley Cup, and you are obsessed about the Leafs.
Weird.
And sad.
But mostly hilarious. - Atomic Wedgie
I don't know how many NHL owners you know or have met but I know/met a few and NONE of them are going bankrupt anymore. Like or hate Bettman but that issue has been solved.
Arizona has plenty of money to spend if the valuation of the team jumps a few hundred million. Do you think they sell NHL teams to just anybody?
The Coyotes sold in 2013. That's a few years ago friend.
Sadly, you show us absurdly disconnected Leafs fans are. Tune in AM radio in Toronto in the middle of the summer and its all about them trading a prospect from the Marlies or a 3rd line left wing for a top line center. Its a joke. Total homers.
And the Leafs aren't in cap hell? JT at 11? Nylander at nearly 7. They near a goalie and need to sign Matthews and Marner. Take it from a Flyers fan - THIS IS THE DEFINITION of cap hell. Which BTW is better than sucking which I will remind you that your team has for decades. That's right, I told you your team sucks. Ha ha. |

According to an article. The coyotes were bought in 2015 by Andrew barroway - KINGS67
I think it was 2013 but the point is the same. The team was sold recently and at a very favorable price compared to Vegas and Seattle. |

If this is true then why aren't they spending actual $ to even reach the cap floor?
And Matthews signing will not put the franchise value up hundreds of millions, come on.
And Leafs need a goalie? Huh? The Vezina favourite plays for the Leafs and is signed to a bargain contract. |

The thing is, Matthews would have to sign that for it to matter.
And then he risks belonging to the islanders.
The leafs have this guy named John tavares on roster that has probably told him all about what it's like to play for them.
Zero chance he signs a contract with the islanders and risks having to play for them. - prock
You can repeat this every half hour and it still doesn't register with some on here. They think an offer sheet comes in the mail at Christmas time and that it's an honour to play for crap teams. |

LOL. The Coyotees owe MORE than their worth. They are in debt over 300 million.
The Coyotes are at 103 per cent, and yes that means that Forbes is saying they owe more than they’re worth.
If you sign someone to an offer sheet or big UFA contract, often it'll cost huge signing bonuses which is massive cash up-front. JT is getting 27 million this year from the Leafs.
You people are so delusional in your hate.
From Forbes (This Year, since some are stating their issues are behind them).
https://www.forbes.com/si...n-last-year/#6c4591184a13
There’s a good reason Andrew Barroway wants investors for the Arizona Coyotes. His NHL team is burning cash at a rapid pace.
Sources familiar with the team’s situation, but not authorized to speak about it publicly, say the Coyotes have been averaging cash losses of around $30 million a year the past five years, and during the latest fiscal year they estimate team lost some $50 million. That’s a big loss when revenues are only $300 million or thereabouts. |
