Yup, it’s kinda comical that so many posters stated that they would be happy with the losses as long as the young players got to play.

Well they’re playing and the losses are piling up and yet I don’t see the patience that everyone was happy with, except you, you have pretty much maintained the same message.

I dont treat you any different than any other poster because you're a ref, nor do i think you act differently because youre one either. But it seems like everytime you log on now, you posts has nothing or little to do with hockey, but more or less how comical you think everyones hockeys posts are, or how the "armchair gms" are out posting hockey opinions. Isnt that what this place is for? I come here for hockey discussions and listen to opinions from angles other than my own. Vintsys post is his opinion, it doesnt make it wrong or right. But why jump on critisizing people for talking hockey? Just seems pointless. Opinions cant be wrong. And who cares if you are against the majority? I dont. Im against the majority on most of management or gm or coach but you label me an armchair gm for it lol.

Btw. I have more respect for people who dont conform with the majority but instead post how they feel. Nighthawk for all his spelling faults, has been insanely consistent on his views. I like goldy, hate gudbranson, dont care for benning and management but can acknowledge accomplishments without blindly hating. Not really here for a popularity contest.

I would imagine quinn signs his ELC as soon as his season at michigin is done. We see him play a few games in a canuck jersey. He makes the team out of camp (my guess only) and he eases into the NHL on the 2nd pair. Pouliot leaving is an addition by subtraction imo

If it's true that JB has no intention of bringing back Edler then the top 4 is still weak even if Hughes steps in as a legit top 4 dman.

I don't trust this management/scouting staff's ability to evaluate NHL dmen. They wanted Demers out of Florida last off-season and Yotes fans(the few that exist) say he sucks.

At least the top 6 looks good for the first time in a long time.

As much as I want to see him here, I hope he doesn’t sign this season only due to the Seattle draft implications. Let him make the final four and the Canucks’ season ends before his.

I hope his team goes deep into their post season so that a year of his ELC is not pissed away on a few meaningless games with the Canucks.

If edler has stated that he loves playing for the canucks so much that he would decline to waive his ntc, maybe he re-signs 1 more year at a reasonable price? As good as Quinn Hughes is, its going to take more than him to fix our Defense.
