Jett Woo destroyed Kirby Dach tonight with a huge open ice hit. Not nice of him considering they will be future team mates

Reminds me of Willie mitchel
Looking forward to this kind of presence on the team |

Nikolay Goldobin on Travis Green, with a big smile: "I hope he's satisfied by my juice." #Canucks
Burke on Goldy : "He is a gifted guy but doesn't show effort all the time. To me, hey kid take a deep breath, watch the game. I like this player, your not going to see a Bo Horvat type obvious effort but he finds a way to get it done. I wouldn't give up on him." #Canucks

Not to mention it’s only FA’s money & hurt the cap not at all. Ppl gripe over anything. |

Sorry Nightie I don't agree. You paid him 6 mil to score goals every year, He has 5.
That is like ordering a high class hooker for 5 000 an hour an a Tranny from Hastings shows up at your door. |

Wow....Hitchcock has the Oilers playing much better defensively. Dubnyk and Kinkaid are killing my pool team - LeftCoaster

He had a great year in BOS playing on PP1-2 with some pretty top end talent. And a killer WHC with the Sedins. All signs pointed to a decent risk but with the Sedins slowing way down it was not a good signing with foresight. Media pushed it pretty hard as well after that great run he had with the Sedins at WHC...'would be a great fit in Van' and Benning completely bought into that. lol |

So it didn’t work out & the writing was on the wall we were ending up here on this rebuild irregardless. Ppl are hung up on a number $6m as if they pay it.
Can anyone state a case for what actual harm or hinderance has resulted from his contract?
Moving on is what is best |

You are living in an age of fantasy sports, and E sports .
The reality is instead of going for two top 6 scoring forwards we can now go after one because the money allotted for that is going to Eriksson and someone else. You do spend money on TV, cable , tickets and jerseys ,so you do invest money and time .
You can't just shrug your shoulders and say no problem . When players are paid a salary and don't do their job it adds up. |

Not that I feel strongly one way or another, but I think the harm is that: we can't really move on from him.
Gagner? Bury in the AHL, as his cap hit isn't that high and and term not that long.
MDZ? Let go to FA at the end of the year.
LE? Can't bury (Aqua wouldn't want to sit 6 mill, plus saving isn't anything with his contract structure), and can't trade to due to the term/cap hit for another few years. A lot of people view him as in the way of younger kids who could be doing what he's doing, but as part of the youth movement.
If he put up 15-20 goals, I think the majority of the chatter would die down. But, he is't... |

Exactly . If you had LE's 6 mil Gagners 3 mil you could have easily gone after Panarin and with the regular cap space gone after another top forward
