DeSmith has been really solid for the Pens IMO. His main issue is overplaying pucks like on the goal that got called back.

I hate how this game could still go either way after dominating the Sens. We've lost several of these.

Awful. Make up call

The Pens are absolutely dominating the Sens to a point that I haven't seen a team get dominated in a while, yet the score is 1-1; that makes me nervous. Makes me feel like one of those games where the Pens do everything right and OTT gets one lucky bounce.

His contract is gross.

I just don't see what Brassard does for this team? The bulk of his shifts he's been nothing more than a warm body. I realize his linemates aren't ideal, but it's ok to clearly be the best guy on your line.

We have been shorthanded all period... these refs are calling it pretty damn one sided.

Was he? I don't think he's THAT vanilla. I think he's got some snarl to his game and despite a bad season last year, he's got some decent offensive upside.
