I drive through Bakersfield every now and then if im road trippin.
I try not to stop there. I've stayed in Barstow plenty of times. It's a little methy around the edges, but there's a good mexican restaurant there.

Is it really true there are endangered tortoises out there and the Army had to build a huge habitat for them? I read it in a book, but it sounds like bullpoop and also exactly something that would happen at the same time.

No it is true... also a 50k fine if you scare them and they piss cause they will dehydrate and die. It sounds like bullpoop, but is not. We were talked to about it regularly.

NOT GOOD. Vertigo is a symptom of something else, and hopefully it's nothing too serious (vertigo is a symptom of many things, including concussions, ear infections, etc..), but hopefully it isn't something worse. For those of you unfamiliar with vertigo, it's the worst. Imagine being on the tilt-a-whirl or some other type of spinny ride at an amusement park. Now imagine that horrible room-spinning feeling (when you get off that ride), and imagine it for a couple of hours - with lots of vomiting.

Let's hope the report of him having vertigo is false, but if it's not, let's hope it's mild and eventually goes away for Marco Scandella.

I never vomited, but the tilt-a-whirl thing is an understatement. I woke up feeling like I had spun in circles for hours, couldn't stand up without falling, had sensitivity to light, sound, caffeine, alcohol, smoke, everything...

I had it for about 3 months. It's scary stuff. You can be walking down the sidewalk fine and then it hits you and you have to basically curl into a ball and lay there waiting for it to go.

My wife had it for about the same time 3 months, I concur not good, sometimes she would walk sideways thinking she was going straight. Could not drive, it was bad for her.

Did you have it concurrent with the headaches? I had it after the headache(I say headache, singular, because it never went away) stopped about 6 weeks post-concussion.
