I had just checked and had 5:22 TOI before then - he ended with 6:08. He was ice cold! I get not playing him when you're behind or when it is tied, but then you have to realize he isn't in this game anymore. Why risk him out there with less than 2 minutes and you still have your timeout? Well, all of this NHL experience will pay off for JC when he is a good NHL coach for another team one day in about a decade. - matt_ahrens
Anytime this new coaching staff wants to take Toews off the first PP he’s useless he won’t shoot and won’t take the puck to the net. At least Strome can get himself open to shoot. And he’s got a much better shot.
4-5 times he could’ve taken the puck to the net Bc Hayden was occupying the defenseman and didn’t. |

Stan is defiant, he got draft picks for Shaw and Dale Weise for Danault. He probably didn't even notice them out there because they don't meet his pretty boy Floyd preference in a hockey player. - RickJ
For all his draft, contract, and trade gaffes....it’s starting to look like naming Rookie Coach Colliton may be the straw that broke the camels back... StanBo has turned this team into a complete joke and deserves to be fired ASAP! |

Wtffffffff
Please send Martinsen down. Bring up Sikura and put Kruger on the bench for Perlini. If we are going to suck at least let me watch some young guys play so I can have some hope for the future.
It should be Toews Strome Anisimov Kampf down the middle. - bhawks2241
Saad - Toews - Kahun
DeBrincat - Strome - Kane
Perlini - Anisimov - Sikura
LW - Kampf - RW
As Gazza mentioned earlier, roll a stable set of the first 3 lines then a rotation on the 4th line to see what the Hawks have out of other prospects.
Send Hayden, Fortin, and/or Martinsen down and see what they have in other 4th liners like Knott and even Tyler Sikura. Heck, bring Johnson back. Doesn't hurt at this point. |

Hayden Kampf xxx
I really like Hayden on the PP he will park in front of the net. His screen was key on the Kane PP g. Not a fan of Johnson.

Yep, one of the few times I cried over a freaking sport. That was the one. The Landrum homer was literally a dagger. I loved Britt and he was battling a really bad hip condition that would shorten his career, but he left every (frank)ing thing on the field that day, gave it all, that's all I ask. Had the Sox run the bases a bit better in that game, Burns wins 1-0, Hoyt closes it out in 5 and the Sox steam roll Philly.
No disrespect to the Orioles, they were actually an awesome baseball team, but damn it still hurts. |

Forget Anisimov for about a month or 2 - that mean man Shea Weber played rough with him. |

Anisimov is soft as cotton. Hopefully he’s not too badly concussed bc he needs to be shipped out. |

Martinsen brings nothing. His two big hits weren’t hits he just was bigger than the Canadien players who took a run at him. I don’t see him punishing opposing D on the forecheck ever.
Strome Martisen and who was the 3rd forward on the ice for that goal? I like Strome but those guys out with 70 secs left. Just wtf... why? Makes no sense. |

Rob-I agree, but who cares. I want White Sox players in the Hall. Period. I am a total sucker for the Pale Hose, rank em above Bears and Hawks, because they were my first team I ever "connected to".
1983....so long ago, so close yet so far, the title that never was. The "missing rings". They need to do a MLB show like that for that team, Hoyt, Dotson, Floyd and Burns were lethal, though Britt was really starting to break down. |

otherwise those lines look like one to give a shot
to.

The Canadiens gave up on Martinsen 2 years ago when they were near the bottom of the standings. Now he has a roster spot in Chicago. |
