In a word - "NO". - EbonyRaptor
No, but in theory Q is still under contract for the next two years, would it be great if Rocky blew a gasket like his dad and fired Stan Bowman sooner than later, and then the next guy came in and re-instated Q behind the bench.
But my gut feeling is Joel is going to get the Philadelphia job at some point. |

Another brilliant coaching change... |

Correct me if I’m wrong, if multiple scouts are here looking at the Blackhawks young ones in Rockford, that must mean they are looking for a quick fix and are going to trade some young people for someone that can help now, yes? No? |

Do teams still provide compensation for hiring a fired coach that is still under contract? If so, extract a 1st round from Philly for Q and hope Philly falls apart after that. Hawks wind up with 2 lottery picks. |

It’s funny you mention Chicken Fat, because I was just reading about foie gras and came across the Yiddish tradition of cooking with poultry fat or “Schmaltz” as they say.
(Yes, I suffer from insomnia on occassion and get pretty deep into the rabbit hole on Wikipedia.)

Butter was expensive.
I would guess the other ethnic groups in the Lower East Side around 1900 would also have use schmaltz - perhaps more olive oil for the Itslians. The bird of choice would have been goose fat more than chicken, I think - there were goose farms in Manhattan. |

Carolina and Arizona are in playoff contention at the TDL. Carolina goalie gets hurt - Cro traded there for a 1st. Arizona wants defense depth - Keith for their first. Both teams severely slump after that and miss the playoffs. Hawks will have 4 lottery picks.

With Dave Tibbit in charge in Seattle
Q is an obvious choice on many levels |

What's worse, was since I was into looking up that stuff ... ok, I did not look that closely at Mr Colliton's coaching resume before... it turns out his massive coaching experience over in Sweden involved all of one season in the top level league there - with all of the others in a lower level.
1 year in the Rock ...
- steve-hist-sdc
In Sveden's top pro league they have relegation. Colliton took over a club that was relegated and coached them back into the top league, then got the Hogs to the Conference Finals: https://www.secondcityhoc...n-reactions-breaking-news

I think it means there is nothing left on the big club to trade so the vultures are picking Bowman's bones in Rockford. |

Didn't Crawford already block trades to teams or only gave a list of teams that didn't need goalies?
Even if we stink out loud, I don't see that changing. He's got a gf and a baby that are set-up nicely in Chicago. I wonder about how soon until he retires, if this contract will be his last since the previous scare a season ago. |

Hahaha! It is!
Hockey related ... well they fly on a plane, hockey players fly on planes. They were headed to LA, there are teams in LA. Last, Bettman is a snake. 2 things can always be compared. |
