The Globalist Cabal would also want you to believe that the world is round, which of course is just crazy talk...

Don't remember the website names, but if you use the Google machine, search for 2019 NHL draft prospects and links to several articles will be referenced. - boilermaker100[/quote
Go to draftsite.com to see wiz preliminary take and evaluation. Go to the hockey link. He is the best source. Based on 30 + years watching tape, not comparing other reports but his own deciphering. He has more correct first round order than anyone. He shines when others end up wrong . Others borrow or copy. His is original |

Stan knows they have minimal trade value
Stan will probably place one or both on waivers... giving them away for free
By sending out a league-wide email, the better teams can start minor bidding in order to "jump" up the waiver wire if they're actually interested in depth for a cup-run, where as the worse teams know they're far more likely to get them for free if they wait.
Another reason to do it is to swap contracts for a minor leaguer, some teams don't want to add to their 50 contracts unnecessarily, but will give AHL fodder or a B prospect back to have more contract flexibility in the future, pre TDL - Slofire94
SLO, Thanks for the explanation.

Bill gives pretty good perspective on the prospects. Even looking back at a lot of players he is usually pretty good with analysis. The Dylan Strome one is a good one to check out

Thanks for the link. All of Wiz's top 4 forward picks, Hughes. Kakko, Cozens, Podkolzin all sound like keepers. |

Thank you!! Good Lord, what is the deal with the haters here? Did he suck the last 2 years? Yes..has he been incredible this year? No, but he's been far better, the other night he had a great game, scored, played hard, he's definitely been far more consistent this year, he's tied with Kane in goals for the most on this team, but still he gets dogged and now his leadership gets questioned, lol, his number will retired and he'll have a statue one day along with Kane at the UC, rightfully so, if you can't comprehend that, give your head a shake. |

Kayumov suspended 13 games for his hit on another KHL player and punch to the ref.
Putting this incident aside, Kayumov projects to be a 3rd line energy winger with some offensive flair, commitment to defense, and some physicality. Possible comparable would be Frolik. |

Even before this he was trending to be a lifer in the KHL.
His progression has not been what they have hoped for in the last 18 months.

Yeah wonder if his development would be better if he was playing in Canadian juniors. My comparable for him is only if he ever crosses the pond and proves his worth on North American ice.
Honestly I really don’t have high hopes for any of the Russian prospects: him, Altybarmakyan, Shalunov, Nalimov. Based on reports from the summer and recently, they all desire to play in the NHL but not sure if they’re developing in a proper trajectory.
Maybe 1-2 make it over but for every year they spend playing out their KHL commitments is every year they get older and North American prospects continue to enhance their stock and leapfrog the Russians on the depth chart. |

After checking his stat lines for his career on hockeydb (because I was curious about this guy too) - it screams out, basically an average sized kid, with limited to no scoring ability, and this last stunt appears to have doubled his career penalty minute total.
Says it was a penny tossed into a wishing well... I doubt anything becomes of this guy -even over there in Yaroslavl.

What's worse, was since I was into looking up that stuff ... ok, I did not look that closely at Mr Colliton's coaching resume before... it turns out his massive coaching experience over in Sweden involved all of one season in the top level league there - with all of the others in a lower level.
1 year in the Rock ...
... and was a playing still for the Isles (ok sorta .. he had like 15 games that season in the NHL - so basically he was one of those AHLers) in 2010-11.
.. seriously ... what is he doing at this level? Ok forget about the coaching record, because that actually answers it.
One I haven't written much about is I love how much he plays Kane -apart from the fact that it hasn't resulted in increased production from Kane (actually it seems to have resulted in substantially reduced production from Kane). Um... why, again? |

Quick - everyone start fondling your prayer beads if you got some - LA is up 4-1 over Vegas half way through the 3rd. |

Beginning Sunday, Hawks enter a stretch of 8 games in 13 days. 2 sets of back to backs. MTL, 2w/WPG, PIT, SJS, NSH, DAL, COL.
I have a feeling they'll beat the Habs and get a OT win somewhere in there for 4 points. |

Remember that the Hawks ARE a playoff team. Looks more like a definite lottery pick. McD and Stan need to go.

Final 5-1 LA. Hawks officially have the worst record in the league. Tied with LA in points but the Kings have more wins.

LA beat Vegas 5-1 today, and with that the Hawks are officially in last place in the league. The Jack Hughes express is rolling down the tracks. Yeah baby! |

That’s good, in a bad sort of way. But ultimately it’s going to be about our ping-pong luck in the lottery. |

Calling this team still capable of making the playoffs was simply a line of BS McD thought he had to say to keep the fans engaged. Nevermind how it has backfired with virtually any informed fan - he’s still a marketing genius - just ask him. |
