It's obvious what Sather wants to leave here. JG, Drury and the Boston boys club. I could see them firing Gordie Clark 4-5 years before they think of letting go of Quinn. They're going to go the distance here and hope that he can last 9+ season's. By than, Drury will be the GM of the NYR and Gorton will be the President. I think even if he got fired, it would still end up being Drury because you have to figure Jeff has 2-3 more years of being safe. Lol they set this up so one Boston guy to the next can take hold of this club. Quinn will be one of those rare coaches who jumos to GM in training while Oliver takes head coach but that last part is just a hunch though. The day they introduced Quinn was when everyone made it obvious that they been dreaming/planning of this since some time now. (Vesey and Hayes are safe long term sons of Quinn)
